Bullard Financial is an independent life insurance agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our agents are licensed across 21 states with access to 20+ carriers, and every one of them works the same way: understand the life first, name what the policy is supposed to do, then make one recommendation.
What independent means here
No carrier owns our recommendation.
A captive agent has one shelf. We have more than twenty carriers, which means the answer to “what should this family do” is not decided before the conversation starts. It also means we can say the most useful sentence in this business: keep what you have.

Where we are going
We are growing on purpose.
The plan is a larger agency, not a bigger book for one person. More licensed agents, more states, more families who get a straight answer instead of a product presentation.
That only works if the people who join hold the line when nobody is watching, which is why character comes before production in every conversation we have with a prospective agent.
The founder
Caleb Bullard
Veteran. Entrepreneur. Author. Life insurance professional. A life shaped by service, adversity, responsibility and building what comes next — and the reason this firm exists.
Service has shaped every chapter
Caleb served six years in the United States Army, including as a combat medic. He became EMT certified, earned a science degree, and later spent two years as a police officer.
Then came entrepreneurship and financial services. Another story was running at the same time. An injury that began during military service turned into chronic back problems that followed him through most of his twenties. He pursued treatment aggressively, invested heavily in finding answers, and kept building: businesses, an insurance practice, and eventually Watchmen of Honor.
It is not a pity story. The point is perspective. Life does not always happen according to plan, and what you do when circumstances change is the whole game. That belief connects his military service, his insurance work and Watchmen.
Service first
Six years in uniform.
Caleb enlisted in the United States Army and served six years, including as a combat medic. The medic’s job is to understand a situation fast, act on what matters most, and stay calm while doing it. It is not a bad description of how he practices today.
After the Army he became EMT certified, earned a science degree, and spent two years as a police officer before building businesses, an insurance practice, and Watchmen of Honor.

Caleb is an independent life insurance professional licensed in 21 states with access to 20+ carriers. Independent matters because underwriting is not uniform: one carrier may treat a medication, a build, a tobacco history or a heart history very differently from another. His job is to understand the person first, then decide which companies and products fit that situation.
He does not position himself as the person who convinces everyone to buy life insurance. He is the person who figures out what you are trying to accomplish, reviews what you already own, and recommends the appropriate solution. If the answer is no, he gets curious rather than pushy. Sometimes there is a concern underneath. Sometimes the answer really is no. A good advisor knows the difference.
